I once read a story about how people used in Indonesia in the train Klepon bought to have something to relish. Those who did not know that the green balls were filled with gula djawa gnawed there innocently and watered, much to the amusement example of food preservation of the other passengers, an unintended beam goela djawa from their mouths.
The first time I made them I got a good tip from dharson which I am very grateful for that. I make better Klepon now. I follow her recipe here but make it a bit different and that is why I describe the recipe here.
Fill the balls with some goela djawa and put them in a saucepan of boiling water. When they come to the surface they are cooked. Give them any little longer to make sure that the goela djawa has melted.
These are also long been on my list to try. Now with that movie there it there must once again come from. I think they are so good. In Bali, especially for roads to buy them. Enjoy your weekend, Caroline March 18, 2011 09:57
